Volunteer Opportunity

Tuesday, June 4th — 5th Annual Drive to Save Lives

Our annual fundraising event continues to grow year after year. Players of the Washington Redskins will be in attendance, along with businesses from around the DMV, at Topgolf Loudoun to raise awareness and funds to support the mission of ECF to save the lives of severely malnourished children.

But the event is not possible without the help of our Volunteer Corp!

The Volunteer Corp enables participants to learn valuable skills used in fundraising for a non-profit, as well as behind the scenes insights into running your own non-profit, all while assisting with the mission of Every Child Fed.

Roles include: prepping materials before the event at our Volunteer Corp Training Day, setup and tear down day of the event, and assisting during the event.

Qualifications: Volunteers must be 21 and older and bring an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude to their work

All volunteers will attend our Volunteer Corp Training Day on Saturday, June 1 which includes:

  • A presentation by our President & CEO, Rachael Watson, about what it’s like to start and run your own non-profit
  • A presentation by our Director of Operations, Rachel Harber,  about the steps to planning a fundraiser
  • Prepping materials for the event
  • Assessment of your skills to match you with a volunteer role the day of the event, and training for that role
